Meat and potatoes rock and roll from Band of Skulls last night. What more could you want from a bluesy, garage rock power trio?
Nobody posted the setlist online yet, but the Skulls opened up with "Asleep at the Wheel," followed by the title track from their latest album, "Himalayan." Things only slowed down once, during a ballad-y version "Nightmares." Otherwise the hits kept coming: "Sweet Sour," "I Guess I Know You Fairly Well," "Hoochie Coochie..." It was exactly what you wanted it to be.
